Sculpting a Thank You to a Firestorm of Heroes
I've been engrossed in a special project since the start of the year. Only a few local friends know what I’m up to. But I want to share the details with you before I go entirely public - because you – my readers - are valued and trusted constant contacts. Over time, I've shared a lot with you – worry, outrage, hope, humor, and comfort. Today I want to tell you about a dream I'm making come true every time I pick up a handful of clay.

Visiting Downtown Fairfield Police Station
It was a cool Friday evening that brought us to downtown Fairfield, not exactly where we'd planned to start our weekend. Rumors about shootings, road rages, and brawls had made us slightly fearful about visiting the area, but we knew our friends in blue, our protectors, would be working even harder there to keep everyone safe. They really deserve a shoutout! Thank you, Heroes in Fairfield from all of us at S.H.I.N.E. (Super Heroes in Need of Encouragement) -
Thank you, Firefighters and First Responders!

I know 9/11 means different things for many people. For some, it meant losing a loved one while most of the world looked on in televised horror. In succession the planes hit the towers while befuddled commentators tried to narrate what we were all witnessing anyway. It still beggars all description.

A Dose of Positivity a Day Keeps the Doctor Away!
Giving honor where honor is due. This month we visited our hometown heroes to thank them for all they do! The kids had a blast at the police station but our police were the ones who were so thankful and told the kids this truly made their whole month because “it’s such a rough sport to be in right now.”
