It was a cool Friday evening that brought us to downtown Fairfield, not exactly where we'd planned to start our weekend. Rumors about shootings, road rages, and brawls had made us slightly fearful about visiting the area, but we knew our friends in blue, our protectors, would be working even harder there to keep everyone safe.
